I met up with Melissa and Mike in Kentville and we made our way to Miner’s Marsh, a relatively new marshland built by Ducks Unlimited which is absolutely beautiful. It would be a great place for a walk for anyone living in the area. I must say that I probably have more in common with Melissa and Mike than most couples I’ve photographed. Seriously, how could I not like someone who brings a hockey puck to an engagement session for a photo with the ring? It was an absolutely beautiful evening for a photo session and even the mosquitoes weren’t bad at the marsh. We chatted as we walked around taking photos and I learned a bit more about this awesome couple which has me thinking that next summer’s wedding is going to be a good one. They’re ceremony is going to be held at the arena in Kentville, a first for me, one which I am looking forward to. It’s a while yet before that day comes, so for now, have a look at a few photos from their engagement session.
