One of the very first weddings I photographed after moving to Halifax was that of Janet and Michael at Lake Banook. It was a great wedding and I was really happy with how the photos turned out. However it was a silly selfie that Mike and I took together which helped us with these family photos. They had been showing little A that picture to get him to recognize me for the family session. It turned out to be a great idea as he seemed to be somewhat familiar with me, and I would even say he was comfortable with me.
For the family session we met up at the Dingle, the same place Janet and Michael had their wedding ceremony, a lot has changed since then and the waterfront looks quite different. We walked around to a few different locations, found some items of interest, like sticks, leaves, and rocks, and kept the little one interested so we could grab some family photos with a smile on his face.
Here are some photos from our session together.
